Tonight, the #CGT judges – Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh, Trish Stratus, and Kardinal Offishall – alongside host Lindsay Ell, unveiled the first six acts advancing to the live two-hour finale, set to air on Tuesday, May 14 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Citytv and Citytv+.

REBECCA STRONG – Singer/Musician, Prince Albert, SK – Lilly’s Golden Buzzer

These six acts showcased exceptional skill and artistry, earning their spots in the finale through a combination of talent, determination, and sheer entertainment value.

Notable highlights from tonight’s episode included Kardinal’s Golden Buzzer pick, MAT & MYM from Québec City, QC, who delivered a mesmerizing dance routine on roller skates, leaving both judges and audience members in awe. Lilly’s Golden Buzzer recipient, singer REBECCA STRONG from Prince Albert, SK, wowed the crowd with her rendition of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License,” earning accolades for her captivating performance.

Other standout moments included Lindsay Ell’s group Golden Buzzer surprise for Toronto’s own NATALIE MORRIS, who delivered a powerhouse performance of Beyoncé’s “I Was Here,” leaving the audience roaring and securing her a spot in the finale alongside a $25,000 prize from CIBC.

But the journey isn’t over for all the acts. Four contestants faced elimination tonight, while four others have been given a chance to compete for a spot in the finale through a public vote. Canadians now have until 4 a.m. ET / 1 a.m. PT to cast their votes for their favourite acts at www.Citytv.com/vote.
