Based on the bestselling novel by Joyce Carol Oates, Blonde gives viewers a taste of Hollywood’s dark side, exploring the unappealing parts of Marilyn’s life, both professional and private.

Directed by Andrew Dominik, Netflix releases the film’s official trailer.  “I’ve played Marilyn Monroe, Marilyn Monroe, Marilyn Monroe.  I can’t face doing another scene with Marilyn Monroe.  Marilyn doesn’t exist.  When I come out of my dressing room, I’m Norma Jeane. I’m still here when the camera is rolling. Marilyn Monroe only exists on the screen,” Ana, as Marilyn, can be heard saying throughout the trailer.

In addition to Ana, ‘Blonde’ stars Bobby Cannavale, Adrien Brody, Julianne Nicholson, Xavier Samuel, and Evan Williams

“Blonde is a reimagining of the life of Marilyn Monroe that explores the split between the late Hollywood legend’s public and private lives. The film touches on everything from Norma Jeane’s childhood to her rise to stardom and her many romantic entanglements while blurring the line between fact and fiction,” according to Billboard.
