This week, Highlights from the American music awards, Cardi B receives a HUGE honour, and Taylor Swift plans on re-recording all of her old Music.

 

Following the HUGE success of ‘WAP’ with Megan thee Stallion, Cardi B has been named ‘Billboard’s Woman of the Year.’ The 28-year-old native of the Bronx also released a brand new Reebok collection, and thrived in the spotlight with her political activism. We’re waiting to see what’s next!

 

Justin Bieber, The Weekend and Taylor Swift were big winners at the American Music Awards on Sunday winning three awards each. Swift extended her lead as the artist with the most awards in the show’s 47-year history. She has now won 32 AMAs, eight more than runner-up Michael Jackson!

Korean superstars BTS released their new album, ‘BE,’ and with the accompanying single, ‘Life Goes On.’
The new single, ‘Life Goes On,’ group member RM shares, “Is a little more weighty, sincere and soft but close to ‘Dynamite.’”  Story goes, the group had been planning the release of their new album even before ‘Dynamite’ came out.  RM says, “It was a collaborative process with fans.”

 

Late Night Host Jimmy Fallon transformed himself into Harry Styles on The Tonight Show for a Vogue’s ’73 Questions’ parody. The absolutely hilarious parody comes a week after Harry made history as the first man to land a solo cover of Vogue USA! We’re still not sure who wore it better.

 

Taylor Swift revealed why she wasn’t at the American Music Awards ceremony Sunday night … and that’s because she’s re-recording albums one through five! Accepting her award in a pre-recorded video, Taylor shares, “The reason I’m not there tonight is I’m re-recording all of my old music in the studio we originally recorded it in.” Swift went on to win 3 awards that night!
