In case you haven’t been following the drama surrounding Jada Pinkett Smith, her husband, Will Smith, and rapper, 27-year old August Alsina, here’s the breakdown.

While being interviewed by Angela Yee (The Breakfast Club), August admitted to having a years-long affair with Jada, and with her husband’s blessing.

Because of this, social media went on a frenzy, which lead Jada and her husband, Will, to share their truths on Facebook’s Red Table Talk.  The 12-minute segment titled, ‘Jada Brings Herself to the Table,’ was viewed more than 15.4 million times within a 24-hour period.

 

During the episode, Jada revealed ‘she first met August more than four years ago and he initially came to her when he was sick and in need of some help.’  The world then learned about Jada and Will’s separation, “I was done with your a**.  We decided we were going to separate for a period of time and you go figure out how to make yourself happy and I’ll figure out how to make myself happy,” Will explained.

 

Will then pushed Jada to admit her ‘entanglement’ was actually a ‘relationship’ with August, “The only person that could give permission in that particular circumstance is myself.  I just wanted to feel good, it had been so long since I felt good.  And it was really a joy to just help heal someone. I think that has a lot to do with my co-dependency.”

 

 

And so the online drama continues for the Smith’s.  This past weekend, 50 Cent shared a screenshot from his private DM conversation with Will, following the news about Jada and August. 50 Cent, like always, took the conversation a step too far.
