2020 has already been the strangest year, so hearing Kanye West declare he is planning to run for the President of the United States, does not come as much of a shock as it should.

First off, Kanye has not taken any steps to register as a candidate, but he’s his Presidential plan in a new interview with Forbes, and he made it very clear that this was not a form of self-promotion for his upcoming album, as he intends to give that away for free.

Kanye must have a soft spot for ‘Black Panther’, because he says he intends to model his administration after the fictional utopia of Wakanda. He wants to organize the White House after the imaginary land, and to be as innovative in medicine as they are.

His campaign slogan is simply “YES” and his party banner is “The Birthday Party”, because according to Kanye “when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday.”

Also, he told Forbes he’s picked his running mate, preacher Michelle Tidball from Wyoming, which is an interesting choice, considering she has once said that she doesn’t even watch the news.

Without any campaign staffers or infrastructure, Kanye is relying on two important advisors – Kim Kardashian West and Elon Musk, who he would put in charge of the nation’s space program. Seems fitting considering these are the only two people who have endorsed him.

One of his most popular promises he wants to make is that he will open back up the NBA from Nigeria to Nanchang and the world will see the greatest athletes play.

Finally, he wants to reinstate prayer in schools, because he believes crime are the result of taking God out of education.

It’s worth noting that Kanye has never voted before, and just recently registered to vote for the first time on Monday, two days after he announced his intention to run.
