Demi Lovato and YouTube are teaming up once again for a new, 4-part docu-series titled, ‘Simply Complicated.’

According to USA Today, “The series will follow the singer, as she shows fans her personal and musical journey over the past three years.  Impactful moments from the last three years include Lovato’s relapse that led to a 2018 overdose and subsequent hospitalization, as well as her recent musical comeback.  The film explores some of the singer’s darkest times, including her drug addiction (which ranged from pills to cocaine), eating disorder and heartbreak.”

This new docu-series is directed by Michael D. Ratner and produced by OBB Pictures.  Back in 2017, Demi teamed up with YouTube for the first installment of ‘Simply Complicated.’

Back in March, Demi appeared on The Ellen Show, where she spoke openly about her ongoing mental health struggles,  “I realized that over time as the things with the eating disorder were getting bad, over the years it progressively got worse… It led me to being really, really unhappy. My bulimia got really bad.  I asked for help and I didn’t receive the help that I needed. So here I am, sober, and I’m thinking to myself, ‘I’m six years sober but I’m miserable. I’m even more miserable than when I was drinking, why am I sober?'”

As of now, there is no release date for the new docu-series.

And don’t forget to check out Demi in the new Netflix movie, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga.  Demi plays Katiana Lindsdottir, a singer from Iceland.  Demi posted a teaser clip from the film onto her Instagram page, writing in the caption, “It means so much to me to have had the opportunity to work with Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams … they are incredible.”

Demi’s ‘In The Mirror’ will join 15 other records that are featured on the Eurovision Song Contest soundtrack.  Listen below.
