HEYYYYY YOUUUUU GUYSSSSS!!!

The cast of the 1985 classic, The Goonies (known for the ‘Truffle Shuffle’ and the most famous movie line to date, “Hey you guys!”) have reunited after 30 plus years and it’s all thanks to Goonie-super fan, Josh Gad and his new web series, Reunited Apart.  (Their virtual reunion is also in support of ‘The Center for Disaster Philanthropy‘s ongoing Coronavirus efforts)

The cast members shared life updates (personal and professional), what it was like making the film and as a special treat, recited some of their famous lines.  For some time, talks about a sequel have been floating around and thanks to Steve Spielberg, we finally have a straight answer, “Every couple of years, we come up with an idea but then it doesn’t hold water. The problem is the bar that all of you raised on this genre, I don’t think we’ve really successfully been able to find an idea that is better than The Goonies that we all made in the ’80s. Until we do, people are just going to have to look at this one 100 times.”
