During these tough times, distractions are very necessary, and watching Ariana Grande and Beyoncé perform Disney tunes was exactly what we needed.

The Disney Family Singalong brought out some top pop singers and celebs, to take us on a magical journey all while highlighting health-care workers who deserve to be recognized during this pandemic.

From Christina Aguilera to the High School Musical Crew, this star studded event captured viewers hearts for a couple of hours.

Ariana Grande was in costume and full makeup when she appeared on the special, singing full harmony for Hurcules’ “I Won’t Say (I’m in Love)”. Scooter Braun, her manager, mentioned Ariana shot and mixed the entire video together in one day with only her iPhone.

Beyoncé’s performance was a pleasant surprise for everyone, as she was not announced to be on the lineup. The ‘Lemonade’ singer wow’ed fans with ‘When You Wish Upon a Star’ from Pinocchio. She opened by stating, “I’m very honored to be a part of the Disney family,” and ended with “Please hold on to your families tight, be safe, and don’t give up hope. We’re going to get through this, I promise.”

To close out the evening, the ‘High School Musical’ Crew gave us a big flash of nostalgia with their rendition of “We’re All In This Together”, which included the original cast members Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel and Monique Coleman.

It was a magical night to remember, and placed smiles on fans faces – worldwide.
