This totally sucks!!

In a recent Instagram post, Halsey shares, “I think 2020 will mark the end of me touring for a very long time.  Thank you for making the memories so special. I am cherishing every single night.”

Halsey is currently on the European leg of her Manic Tour, which wraps on March 12 in Manchester, U.K.  The tour then picks up in the U.S. on June 2, where Halsey will perform inside Seattle’s White River Amphitheatre.

Halsey may not tour but her album, Manic, scored an amazing milestone – it’s been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), making her the first artist of 2020 to accomplish this.

Prior to her show inside Berlin’s Verti Music Hall, Halsey threatened a press blackout on Instagram.  In a recent photo caption, it reads,Putting it on record that I’m never doing another interview ever again because nobody can take a joke.”

This is why – during her interview with The Guardian, Halsey opened up about her previous miscarriages.  Following that same interview, a Twitter user tweeted, “Man no disrespect to Halsey in a rough time but if I see one more cis woman refer to pregnancy as what they were ‘biologically put on this earth to do,’ I’m gonna really lose it.”

Halsey then fired back on her Insta-story writing, “Just want to be clear, I was referencing to how society’s expectations of me were so deeply internalized, that it made me suffer in this way.  And I had to outgrow this belief to find self-acceptance.  We are on the same side here.”
