It was announced earlier today Demi Lovato will perform at this years GRAMMY Awards.

Back in early December, Demi posted a pitch-black photo on Instagram and in the caption writes, “The next time you hear from me, I’ll be singing …”

Demi then posted a photo earlier today, looking better than ever, with the caption reading, “I told you the next time you’d hear from me I’d be singing.”  Although last month most fans assumed Demi may have meant new music, no one expected THIS!

It’s no secret that Demi has had a super rocky year – she was hospitalized in July 2018 due to an overdose.  Last December, Demi made an appearance on Twitter to release a statement regarding rumours and tabloids, “I love my fans, and hate tabloids. Don’t believe what you read. People will literally make up stuff to sell a story. Sickening.  If I feel like the world needs to know something, I will tell them MYSELF. Otherwise people stop writing about my recovery, because it’s no one’s business but mine. I am sober and grateful to be alive and taking care of ME.”

And in late summer, Demi signed with new manager, Scooter Braun.  Correct me if I’m wrong but I do believe this could be the start of #Demi2020

The 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards happen live from L.A. on Jan. 26 and will feature other performances from Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande and Lizzo.
