Lizzo took the stage not once but twice to perform her massive hits – Truth Hurts and Good As Hell.  Truth Hurts reached No.1 on the Billboard charts back in September and according to Billboard, “Tied for the record for the longest reign atop that chart by a female rapper a few weeks later.”

And we can’t forget about Eddie Murphy who, after 35 years, returned to the SNL stage to host the last episode of the season.  In the beginning of his monologue, Eddie tells the audience, “This is the last episode of 2019.  Or, if you’re black, this is the first episode since I left in 1984.  I have 10 kids now – 11 if you count Kevin Hart.  If you told me 30 years ago that I’d be this boring stay at home house dad, and that Bill Cosby would be in jail, even I would have taken that bet.”  Eddie then was joined on stage by some of the best (and funniest) comedians around – Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle.  Watch below.
