My favourite Demi Lovato tattoo yet!

 

Demi is kicking off 2020 in the most positive way she knows how – she made the decision to get some ink tattooed on her neck – using a powerful word with a great meaning behind it, Survivor.  Tattooed by Doctor Woo, who is known for his work on Justin Bieber (his ‘Forever’ neck tattoo), he shared a photo of Demi’s new ink on his Instagram page.

 

 

 

If you’ve been following Demi throughout her journey, you’d know she’s had ongoing issues with drug addiction and eating disorders, and with lots of help and love, has survived every step of the way – hence her Survivor tattoo

 

During this year’s Teen Vogue Summit, Demi was asked to speak and shared, “What I see in the mirror [is] someone that’s overcome a lot. I’ve been through a lot and I genuinely see a fighter.  I don’t see a championship winner, but I see a fighter and someone who is going to continue to fight no matter what is thrown their way.”

 

 

 

Back in October, Demi tattooed the letter ‘T’ in honour of her friend, Thomas Trussell III, who passed away from a drug overdose.

 

 

 

And you can expect music coming from Demi in the near future.  On Instagram, Demi writes, “The next time you hear from me, I’ll be singing.”
