A new trailer for “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” is out and it shows a very different vibe than previous Ghostbusters movies.

Let’s start with the story of the new movie.

Callie is a single mom who moves her two kids to an old house that was owned by her late father that she was estranged from.

Her late father was Dr. Egon Spengler, one of the OG Ghostbusters.

The two kids, Phoebe and Travis, explore the house and find all this cool gear their grandfather used back in the day, and they show their science teacher, who is played by Paul Rudd, who is very aware of the Ghostbusters.

In the trailer there’s some sort of monster that steps on a car (demogorgon?) and they discover some creepiness happening under the small town they’re in (the upside down??).

Also, that’s Mike from Stranger Things:

Also, Timbits make an appearance?

“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” will be out July 10, 2020.

Jason Reitman is directing, the son of Ivan Reitman who made the first two Ghostbusters movies.

I feel like we should mention there was that 2016 Ghostbusters movie.

Ok, I mentioned it.
