If you use the Tik Tok platform, for sure you will be familiar with Arizona’s massive hit – it’s called ROXANNE and its popularity continues to grow, day by day.  According to Billboard, “Since its release on October 10, the track has earned nearly 50 million streams on Spotify, with placements from heavy-hitter playlists such as Today’s Top Hits and Pop Rising. It topped the platform’s U.S. top tracks chart from Nov. 7-13 with more more than 1 million streams daily, making Zervas the first unsigned, independent artist to achieve that honor in at least three years.  On TikTok the song has taken off too and has been used more than 320,000 videos to date. It’s also found support on SiriusXM channels Hits1, The Heat and Hip-Hop Nation.”

ROXANNE isn’t the only record from Arizona – from 2016 until now, the singer and songwriter has released more than 30 tracks, which the top 10 have been streamed more than a million times on Spotify and as Billboard notes, “He’s been touring too, with more than 50 shows across the country, including such notable venues as New York’s Webster Hall and The Fillmore in his native Maryland.”  In addition, ROXANNE has officially hit Billboard’s Hot 100 and debuted at No. 34.

Fun Fact: ROXANNE reached the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s U.S. Top 50 chart and became the first record, by an unsigned, independent artist, to do so since 2017.

Arizona has since been signed under chairman and CEO Ron Perry of Columbia Records – making this the label’s second major signing of the year, following Lil Nas X.
