Taylor Swift is Blamed For Hockey Team's Losing Streak

Taylor Swift has cursed the LA Kings.

Or some seem to think so.

If there is a curse, it looks like it started in 2015.

Taylor had played a record 16 sold-out shows at the Staples Center.

To celebrate, a banner was raised:

The Los Angeles Kings covered up a banner commemorating Taylor Swift before Saturday's home opener against the Nashville Predators.

The banner, which lauded Swift for having the most sold-out performances at the arena, won't be removed entirely but will continue to be covered up pic.twitter.com/tUSrTV7qWD

The LA Kings had won the Stanley Cup in 2012 and 2014, but since the banner went up, they haven’t won a playoff series.

So, at the start of this season, it was decided that the banner would be covered up during games.

At last check, they’ve lost two of three home games so far this year.
