Taylor Swift and her sweet, talented self is returning to The Voice!

 

The Voice‘s 17th season kicks off on Sept. 23 and it was announced that Taylor will sever as a Mega Mentor.  Taylor will join Blake Shelton, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani during the teams Knockout Rounds.  To announce the news, Blake and John filmed a sweet teaser video.  Watch below.

 

 

 

 

This isn’t Taylor’s first time on the hit show – she was a Mega Mentor during season 7 and during last season’s finale, she performed her hit ‘ME!’ alongside Brendon Urie.

 

 

 

 

 

According to Billboard, “When the Knockout Rounds begin, each artist will be paired with a teammate and select their own songs to sing and Swift will help all four coaches and their teams by providing feedback and suggestions as each singer prepares for their performance.”  In addition, The Voice also name-dropped the Battle Advisors for the 17th season – Normani will join Team Kelly team, Usher returns and joins Team John, Team Gwen brings in Will.i.am and Darius Rucker will join Team Shelton.

 

 

 

 

AND – Taylor announced she’s going on tour! Taylor posted all tour dates on Instagram with a message that read, “For me, the Lover album is open fields and sunset and SUMMER.  I want to celebrate the album and perform it live with you in a way that feel authentic to the music.  I want to go to some places I haven’t been, and play festivals for the first time in ages … and where we didn’t have festivals, we made some.  Introducing, Lover Fest East and West.  Details and additional dates coming soon!”  Taylor will also make history during her SoFi Stadium shows on July 25 and 26 because she will be the FIRST woman to open at an NHL Stadium.
