Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey have teamed up on the lead single off the soundtrack for the upcoming Charlie’s Angels film called ‘Don’t Call Me Angel.’

In an Instagram post, Ariana writes, “I’m so proud of this record and these women.  I hope you enjoy your first taste of the @charliesangels soundtrack ! I am so grateful to be an executive producer on this project and a part of this experience.  Thank u @mileycyrus @lanadelrey @hannahluxdavis @elizabethbanks @awsuki @ilya_music.  I’m so excited for this film and this exciting chapter. Don’t call me angel.”

Since its release, Don’t Call Me Angel took over the number one spot on the iTunes Worldwide Songs Chart, it’s the first female collaboration to top the charts this year AND the music video racked up over 21.5 million views within its first 24 hours on YouTube not to mention, it now has close to 29 million views and counting.

Fans think Miley, who takes on the song’s first verse, is throwing shade towards her ex, Liam Hemsworth.  Peep the lyrics: “Don’t call me angel when I’m a mess, don’t call me angel when I get undressed.  You know I, I don’t like that, boy.  I made my money, and I write the checks.  So say my name with a little respect.”  If you follow / followed Liam on Instagram, you’d notice during his time with Miley, he’d always refer to her as ‘angel.’
