Bebe Rexha recently called out a male music executive because he ‘shamed’ her age and said her ‘brand was confusing.’

In an Instagram post, Bebe writes, “I recently had a MALE music executive tell me that I was getting too old and that my brand was “confusing.” Because… I’m a songwriter and I post sexy pics on my Instagram and that’s not what female songwriters are suppose to do, especially for my age. I’m 29.  I’m fed up with being put in a box. I make my own rules. I’m tired of women getting labeled as “hags” when they get old and guys get labeled as sexy with age. Anyways, I’m turning 30 on August 30 and you know what, I’m not running away from it. I’m not gonna lie about my age or sing songs that I feel will sell better because they sound “younger.” I’m gonna celebrate my age because you know what, I’m wiser, I’m stronger and TRUST ME I’m a much better lover than I was 10 years ago.”

Since then, Bebe has been shown support from a numerous amount of celebs online; from Taylor Swift to Rita Ora, The Chainsmokers and more.  Taylor commented, “DRAG THEM. 29 YEAR OLDS UNITE.”  Bebe replied, “#1989.”

Another female to respond is Jeanette Jenkins, fitness coach to the celebs.  She writes, “These two icons @jlo and @halleberry are both in 50 club and they are sexy.  So do you mama!”

While celebs like Rita Ora comments, “My sexy songwriting — you are beautiful, getting sexier with age and your talent SINGS for itself.  Keep making those rules,” Natasha Bedingfield says, “I know this story and this kind of ‘advice’ is so bulls**t.  I love you!”

And this isn’t the first time Bebe has called out a male on social media – according to Bebe, he was a football player (unnamed), married and with three children.  At the time, Bebe wrote on her Insta-story, “Do you ever have that one guy that always comes in and out of your life.  And they are cheaters and waste your time.  You’re married and have three kids.  Be a good role model and play your sports and leave me the f**k alone.  Don’t be texting me ‘hey friend’ especially if you’re a married man.  Sorry.  That s**t don’t fly with me.”

Bebe is amazing and isn’t here for the drama!
