Beyoncé has released a song called “Spirit” from The Lion King movie.

It’s one song on the soundtrack that Bey herself has produced and curated.

She had specific goals when she hand-picked the talent:

“It was important that the music was not only performed by the most interesting and talented artists but also produced by the best African producers. Authenticity and heart were important to me.”

The album is called The Lion King: The Gift and it’s out July 19th, the same day as the movie.

And if you want a little nostagia, the original soundtrakt is being re-released on July 11th and will have “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” with Beyoncé and Donald Glover.

And we can’t forget she’s also in the movie.

She voices Nala.
