A day after his 24th birthday, Post Malone dropped a new track and video called Goodbyes – featuring rapper Young Thug.

Goodbyes was produced by Brian Lee and Louis Bell, who is also a frequent collaborator with Post.  In addition, Post also dropped a cinematic video to accompany the track.  As Rolling Stone explains,The ’50s-set video, directed by Colin Tilley, showcases the singer being violently knifed to death by a rival gang before coming back from the dead in a nearby graveyard. Young Thug takes the role of a club singer while actress Kathryn Newton, best known for Big Little Lies and Detective Pokemon, plays Post Malone’s lost love. Although the video is a stylish ’50s clip with hairstyles and leather jackets to match, a modern-day bottle of Bud inexplicably appears in Malone’s hand at one point.”

And this isn’t the first time Post and Young Thug have worked together – back in 2018, Post acted as producer on Young’s ‘Me Or Us,’ which is off of his Beautiful Thugger Girls mixtape.
