HBOs Response to 'The Starbucks Cup' on Set of Game Of Thrones

The only spoiler you’ll find online this week after Sunday’s Game of Thrones episode is people sharing screenshots of the moment that a disposable takeout cup was spotted on a table in the show.

It happens for only 2 seconds on screen, but many fans seemed to catch on right away and even go as far as to say that because of it’s size and shape they’re assuming it’s a Starbucks cup (most likely a ‘short’ size).

HBO epically responded by saying,

“The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Daenerys had ordered an herbal tea.”

Then they take it as a moment to brag a bit by saying the reason it’s been so blown out of proportion is because they’ve never made the mistake before on the show.

So they say… I guess I’ll have to go and re-watch every episode to make sure!
