Halsey Blacks Out Social Media, Teases Major Announcement

Halsey had an emotional evening at the BBMAs last night!

She did an amazing performance of ‘Boy With Luv’ with BTS, and she also performed ‘Without Me’, which she said on her Instagram story would be the last televised performance of the song.

However, the rest of both her Instagram and Twitter accounts has been blacked out. Now people are wondering what she’s up to. She’s been promising a new album this year, so new music is definitely a good guess but a lot of fans think there’s even more up her sleeve than that.

Since her social media blackout, she’s now posted 3 images that seem to be teasing 2 concert dates next week in New York. They include a line saying “Two intimate homecoming shows to celebrate the reopening of Webster Hall”. The first date, May 8th, is followed by the title of her debut studio album Badlands; the second, May 9th, is followed by “HFK” alluding to her second album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom.

With all the she has (and hasn’t) posted, fans are thinking this could mean that she is about to make a major shift into a ‘new era of Halsey’.

Tickets for next week’s shows go on sale tomorrow evening (May 3rd), maybe then we’ll know more of what’s up her sleeve.
