Looks like Taylor Swift will be bringing her new single ‘ME!’ to life on May 1!

Billboard announced that T-Swift will open the 2019 Billboard Music Awards and will share the stage with Brendon Urie.  Billboard tweeted, “Taylor Swift will open the #BBMAs with the worldwide premiere performance of ‘ME!’ featuring Brendon Urie of Panic At The Disco.”

After weeks of teasing on Instagram, Taylor finally dropped a new record AND music video and since the video’s release, it has been breaking some major YouTube records, and I’m not talking one record – I’m talking MULTIPLE!  According to Billboard,  “According to a release from YouTube, Swift’s “ME!” video clocked in a record-breaking 65.2 million views within the first 24 hours of its release on April 26.  YouTube confirms that this feat makes Swift the solo and female artist with the biggest 24-hour debut on YouTube to-date.  The “ME!” video marks the most impressive 24-hour debut ever for Swift, trailed by the 43.2 million views her “Look What You Made Me Do” video notched during its first day. “ME!” also received more likes in its first day than any of Swift’s earlier music video releases.  Swift currently counts more than 33 million subscribers on her official YouTube channel, which makes her one of just eight musicians who have over 30 million subscribers.”

The 2019 Billboard Music Awards will be hosted by the lovely and talented Kelly Clarkson and will feature others performers such as BTS, Halsey, Lauren Daigle, Dan + Shay, Jonas Brothers, Panic! At The Disco, Madonna, Tori Kelly, Kelly Clarkson, Ciara plus, Paula Abdul and Mariah Carey is the Icon Award recipient.
