This is JUST like Taylor Swift!

Taylor’s new video for ‘ME!’ has been out for less than 48 hours and already, she has broken major YouTube records.  The record include Brendon Urie from Panic! At The Disco and according to YouTube, Taylor now holds the ‘all-time leading female and solo 24-hour debut for any music video on YouTube’ AND – out of all the music video’s Taylor has, ‘ME!’ is Taylor’s biggest, 24-hour debut.

As Entertainment Tonight explains, “Taylor is the only solo artist to have two videos in YouTube’s top 24-hour debuts (the first is “Look What You Made Me Do”). “ME!” has gained more likes in its first 24 hours than any other video from the singer.”

Earlier this week, Taylor stopped by Good Morning America and chatted with host, Robin Roberts about the meaning behind her new single, “[It’s] about embracing your individuality.  With a pop song, we have the ability to get a melody stuck in people’s heads. I just want it to be one that makes them feel better about themselves.”

And like Taylor, she didn’t forget about her fans, “I cannot believe how dedicated they are, how thoughtful.  I can’t believe how much they care. It makes it more fun for me to create music, to create music videos, knowing that they’ll care about little Easter eggs, and you have no idea how much fun that is to make stuff for people who care about it that much. So it’s the fans.  They’ve always been there and it’s just gotten more fun as time has passed.”
