During Ariana Grande’s Coachella performance, someone in the crowd threw a lemon and it hit Ari right in the chest.

 

 

 

Ari then stopped mid-performance (during ‘Break Your Heart Right Back).  You can hear her say, “What the f—? That’s cause one of y’all threw a lemon at me, s**t,” and walked off stage along with her backup dancers.

 

 

Who would’ve dashed the fruit at Ariana? Fans soon pointed fingers towards the #Beyhive.  And why you ask? Following Ariana’s first Coachella performance, it was reported Ariana was paid double in comparison to Beyonce who headlined the popular music festival last year.  However, according to The Blast, “The women were paid $4 million for each weekend and the contracts for Grande and Beyoncé were “structured exactly the same way.”  Either way – fans of Beyonce were NOT having it at all.  So where does the lemon come in from? Beyonce named her 2016 album Lemonade.

 

 

 

Ariana is the youngest performer to ever headline in Coachella history.  She performed alongside NSYNC, Nicki Minaj, Diddy, Justin Bieber and more  – I’m pretty sure she isn’t bothered by a lemon to the chest.
