April 20th 2019 marks one year since Tim Bergling, better known as Avicii, passed away. To honour the musician, a documentary has been released titled Avicii: True Stories which gives an inside look to one of the greatest artists in the EDM world. It includes footage from; Tim’s family, his personal archive and behind the scenes footage of his studio work and tour life.

Unfortunately, the full film that aired on BBC is only available to UK residents for now; but there’s chatter that it might eventually be available in North America in the future.

His family is releasing an album that will include songs he was working on before he passed away. It will be called TIM, and will be available on June 6th.

The profits from the album will go towards ‘The Tim Bergling Foundation’ a non-profit organization that his father setup to raise awareness for suicide prevention and help for individuals struggling with mental illness. In the future, he hopes the foundation can eventually branch out into supporting climate change, endangered species and nature conservation.

The first single released features Aloe Blacc and is called ‘SOS’. Here’s the video that includes personal messages that his fans all over the world shared.
