Normani explains, “We wear face masks, wake up really late, have breakfast, that kind of jam … just typical girls! I feel like she’s had an incredible year, especially going through as much as she has. The way that she’s handled things, not only as an artist, but as a woman — I think she’s the definition of resilience.”

According to PEOPLE, Normani revealed she and Ariana have been friends for a ‘very long time’ and says, “With our demanding careers, that meant we’d never really had the opportunity to just hang out, be normal, and really enjoy each other.”  Now that Normani and Ariana are on the road together, that all has changed.  And it’s not just Normani and Ariana – they also have both sets of dancers and Normani’s band, “There are so many women around me, I’m really inspired.  It’s like a sleepover on wheels,” explains Normani.

It was just a year ago the ladies of Fifth Harmony made the decision to go their own separate ways, and to ‘pursue solo careers.’  Normani says, “I think the thing that motivates me is knowing that I didn’t end up here just by coincidence.  God placed me here strategically and put all of my desires within myself because he knew that I would be able to handle whatever it is that comes with it.  It’s much bigger than an award.  “I really want to make a real difference.”  Since the breakup, Normani has collaborated with Sam Smith, Calvin Harris and Khalid.  She’s currently working on her debut-solo album and she’s on tour with Ariana Grande.

Is it okay to ask if it’s possible for a Ariana/Normani collaboration?!
