BTS and Halsey have announced a brand new collaboration – the single is called ‘Boy With Luv’ and it’s off of BTS’ upcoming album, Map of the Soul: Persona.

Both BTS and Halsey announced their music news through a teaser trailer.  As Billboard writes, “The short teaser features Halsey operating a ticket window, which she steps out of to join BTS as they sit beneath a neon sign that reads “Persona.” The clip then jumps to their silhouettes performing beneath a sign that reads “Love,” as the song’s title in both Korean and English appears. While dubbed “Boy With Luv” in English, the Korean title “?? ??? ?? ?” translates roughly to mean “A Poem for the Small Things.””

Map of the Soul: Personal is the follow up album to BTS’s 2017-2019 Love Yourself trilogy and ‘Boy With Luv’ follows the previously released singles ‘IDOL,’ which had two versions (one with Nicki Minaj) and BTS’ Steve Aoki collaboration, Waste It On Me.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, BTS describes their new album as ‘therapeutic’ and ‘refreshing crispness’ and they to evolve in mainstream radio following their new album, “It will have to be a great song, but also there’s a whole strategy that’s associated with getting all the way up. And then there has to be a measure of luck, obviously. So what’s important for us is just to make good music and good performances and have those elements come together.”

BTS’ new song with Halsey, Boy With Luv will drop in Korea and the U.S. on April 12!
