This is probably one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year, let’s be real.

Zac Efron’s Ted Bundy movie, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile debuted at the Sundance Festival is told from Ted Bundy’s girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer, who’s played by Lily Colins. Some people are saying it glorifies the serial killer, but you can be the judge of that.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix bought EWSEAV for $9 million after a bidding war with STX and Lionsgate.

The movie will be released in select theatres, but if you want to watch it at home, it’ll be released to Netflix on May 3rd.

Check out the new official trailer if you haven’t seen it yet!

While we wait for May 3rd, you can watch The Ted Bundy Tapes which are already airing on Netflix. Just one recommendation: don’t watch them alone. They’re creepy af.

Okay – happy Netflixing!
