On March 8th, the entire world celebrated International Women’s day, including your favourite female celebrities.  From Miley Cyrus to Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande, see all of the special messages that were posted throughout the day on Instagram.

My favourite, this Instagram post made by Diplo.  Diplo writes, “Next to every man there are incredible women making his half ass work look decent .. here’s just a few of the incredible ladies I’ve had the honour of collaborating with during my career.  Every day should be woman’s day.”

The queen Ariana Grande posted this video on Twitter – it’s called ‘Female,’ “We made this for the dwt and you’ve been asking for it since.  Happy International Women’s Day every day to women of every colour, shape, size, sexuality, age, religion, trans, cis, and all who identify! you are everything and i’m proud of u everyday.”

Dua Lipa posted on Instagram, “To mark #IWD2019 and 30 yrs of @womankindworldwide, I’m calling on governments to fulfil their commitments to protect women’s rights activists around the world. Now is the time to stand with women’s movements like never before! Shout out to all the incredible women around the world and fighting for change. I love you.”

Even Niall Horan and Harry Styles tweeted in celebration. Niall tweeted, “Everyday should be women’s day! Love to all the amazing ladies out there,” and Harry said, “Thank you to all the wonderful women of today, yesterday, and always.  Happy International Women’s Day.  H.”

Barack Obama tweeted, “On International Women’s Day, I’m reflecting on the future we all want for our daughters: one where they can live out their aspirations without limits. And I’m celebrating some of the women who are building that future for all of us today.”

Look at what Mark Ronson had to say, “These are a few of the amazing women who have made me who I am…personally, professionally, emotionally, spiritually. I would be half the person (maybe less) that I am today without them. Happy #InternationalWomensDay everyone.”

Happy women’s day! I feel so blessed that I got to grow up surrounded by six incredible women: my mom, and my five sisters. We are all so different, but we complement one another, and we help each other grow! As women we are naturally empathetic, loving and caring. We nurture life! Today and every day, I celebrate all women. Let’s support and lift each other up! We are stronger when we are together. ? Nós nutrimos a vida! Hoje e todos os dias, celebro as mulheres. Vamos apoiar umas às outras! Somos mais fortes quando estamos juntas.
