Remember a few weeks back when a photo was taken of the OG cast of ‘90210’ and rumours began to fly about a possible reboot? Well whatever doubt you once had, throw THAT out the window because according to Tori Spelling, who played the loveable Donna Summer on all 10-seasons of the hit 90s show, has officially confirmed a reboot IS happening and with MOST of the cast.

According to Tori, she told Entertainment Tonight, “We had our first meeting, we all got into a room together saying, ‘Should we do this?’ and I remember [Brian Austin Green] saying, ‘This is surreal!’ He was just like, ‘I’m looking around seeing all your faces, and it’s so weird because we were all teenagers back then.  Now we’re together every week and we talk about our kids and partners and life and pick up at school.  We all love each other and we’re family, but life goes different ways.  Brian Green and I hadn’t seen each other in 20 years.”

As Tori explains, this isn’t your ordinary reboot, “Jennie Garth and I were like, ‘What would be something fun?’ and so we decided what would it be like if an entire ensemble cast played themselves.  There’s been shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, episodes where its heightened versions of people playing themselves. This is the first time an entire cast will be playing heightened versions, so people would be going, ‘What’s fictional, what’s not fictional?  [It will be a] blend about doing the behind the scenes of a reboot, so don’t worry — all the fans will get to see scenes within scenes so they won’t be disappointed. They’ll see [the characters] Donna and David, but they’ll also see [the real people], Tori and Brian and Jennie and everyone else.”

Donna & David David and Donna first started dating in high school. Donna was the socially awkward sophomore and David was a geeky freshman. The start of their relationship was David asking Donna to a school dance and Donna accepted. The night of the dance David leaned in to kiss Donna and she backed away. She didn't want to admit that she liked David because he was younger and their friends were teasing her. That night they were dancing and Donna kissed him. They became a couple and stayed together all through high school, even though Donna wanted to stay a virgin until she got married; David agreed to follow Donna's wishes. David graduated high school a year early to be able to graduate and go to college with Donna. David cheated on Donna with AR rep Arial in season 4. David and Donna ended their relationship, (after some time) they were able to remain good friends. The were in an on and off again relationship. They were together through most of the seventh season. On graduation night Donna surprised David when he walked into the bedroom Donna was in the bed waiting for him. That night they made love for the first time. Donna lost her virginity. David's club was failing in season 8 and he forged one of Donna's checks. Once she found out Donna kicked him out of the beach apartment and they were broken up once again. She then had a serious romance with Noah Hunter, but that eventually ended and in the final season, she got back together with David again. Donna and David wed in the show's series finale. #ToriSpelling #BrianAustinGreen #DonnaMartin #DavidSilver #BeverlyHills90210 #BH90210 #BeverlyHills #90210 #90210Forever #WestBeverlyHigh #TVSeries #TVShow #TVDrama #SoapOpera #TeenDrama #LosAngeles #California #BestTVShow #BestTVSeries #ClassicTVSeries #90s #90sTV #90sFashion #Nostalgia #AaronSpelling #DarrenStar FOLLOW: ? ? @beverlyhills90210.tv ???

So who will be a part of the reboot? As Tori dishes, “We have some issues because Luke [Perry] is full time on Riverdale, so he will do as many episodes as he can. But outside of that, we pretty much have the entire original cast.”  However, during her interview with Access Hollywood, Tori confirmed the reboot will not include Shannen Doherty aka Brenda Walsh but the cast would love to have her be apart of the series.  I guess time will tell!

Look out for the brand new ‘90210’ reboot later this year!
