TORONTOOOOOOOOOOO *Oprah Voice*

Oprah Magazine recently connected with National Geographic and Travel + Leisure and named Toronto to be one out of 19 top winter getaways and in her words, “A superb spot for foodies,” ya got that right!

On the website, this is what Oprah had to say about the good ol’ 6ix, “A superb spot for foodies, put a liquid blanket on at the Toronto Winter Brewfest in early March. Plus, 200 restaurants are participating in Toronto’s major food event, Winterlicious. Enjoy three-course prix fixe lunch menus priced at $23, $28 and $33 and dinner menus priced at $33, $43 and $53. Restaurants start accepting reservations for the promotion on January 10.  History buffs can spend some time exploring The Royal Ontario Museum, which has over six million artifacts devoted to Canadian and world history. Also, check out the CN Tower, which defines Toronto’s skyline. This engineering marvel is an entertainment and dining destination, with a thrilling ride aboard glass elevators.  Stay at Hotel X Toronto, a luxury hotel on the Lake Ontario Waterfront downtown.” I mean, she’s ain’t lyin’!
