Are Oreo Cookies Black or Brown? The Debate Gets Heated!

Things got VERY heated on social media last night with someone asking the question, are Oreos black or brown?

The Twitterverse were divided so we thought we could get some consensus on the Roz and Mocha Show and well…we were wrong.

On one side you had Mocha and Maurie who firmly believed that the Oreo cookie is black; while Shem thought they were very clearly dark brown.

Black would turn grey
Dark brown turns lighter brown… Oreos turn lighter brown

@KiSS925 I totally agree with Maurie that there are different types of black. Have you ever owned an article of clothing and it is a midnight black but after 4 or 5 washes it turns out to be a later black?
