The Spice Girls heard what the fans really, really want – A TOUR!!!

On Monday, the group announced an 8-date tour in the summer of ’19 that will only take place in the U.K.

Rumours about a possible tour (and/or new music) began when Victoria posted photos earlier this year on her Instagram page with her bandmates and their manager, Simon Fuller.

Later in the year, Melanie ‘Scary Spice’ Brown confirmed on both TODAY and on The Late Late Show that a tour IS happening.

During her appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, when asked which members of the 90s girl group will head on the road, Melanie confirmed herself along with Geri, Emma and Mel C. But, what about Victoria? It was recently confirmed that Posh Spice will NOT be touring this time around.

The Spice Girls were formed in the early 1990’s and brought you some of pop’s biggest and most unforgettable records like ‘Wannabe,’ ‘Spice Up Your Life,’ ‘Say You’ll Be There’ and ‘Stop.’  Geri ‘Ginger Spice’ left the group in 1998 and the band performed and toured as a foursome for two years.  They officially called it quits in 2000 and then reunited in 2012 for the London Olympics.

Later this month, the girls will appear on the ITV chat show to talk about their U.K. Stadium tour.  A press release statement said, “The week on The Jonathan Ross Show, in a TV exclusive, Emma Bunton, Mel B, Mel C and Geri Horner will be chatting together on the sofa.  Plus, the hilarious John Bishop, and international pop icon Kylie Minogue, who’ll also be performing a duet with Jack Savoretti.”

Fingers crossed The Spice Girls will have a change of heart and tour Canada!
