In the trailer we hear Sabrina say, “In the town of Greendale where it always feels like Halloween, there lived a girl who was half witch, half mortal, who on her 16th birthday would have to choose between two worlds; the witch world of her family, and the human world of her friends.  And that girl is me.”

Once Sabrina turns 16, she attends a witch ceremony where she kneels in front of a wizard and then refuses to commit to the witch world.  Afterwards, she faces some pretty dark consequences.

The new Netflix series is based on the Archie comics horror series and it stars Kiernan Shipka (Sabrina Spellman), Miranda Otto (Aunt Zelda), Lucy Davis (Aunt Hilda) Ross Lynch (Harvey) and Michelle Gomez (Madam Satan.

As you already know, the Netflix series is also based on the 2003 hit series ‘Sabrina The Teenage Witch’ which starred Melissa Joan Hart and ran for seven series and let’s just say, the reboot is much darker than the original.
