Juice WRLD is 19-year old rapper, singer and songwriter and hails from Chicago, Illinois.  During his freshman year in high school, Juice released his very first record called ‘Forever.’  The song dropped in 2015 on SoundCloud and at the time, his name was ‘JuicetheKidd.’  During his sophomore year, Juice recorded his first batch of records on his phone which he would later upload to his SoundCloud account and inspired by Tupac Shakur and the film Juice, ‘JuicetheKidd’ was changed to ‘Juice WRLD’ because it represented ‘taking over the world.’

On June 15, 2017 Juice released his debut EP called ‘9, 9, 9.’  In December of the same year, Juice then released a three-song EP called ‘Nothings Different’ and it featured a huge single called ‘All Girls Are The Same.’  Following the release of ‘All Girls Are The Same,’ Juice was signed to Interscope Records and in May of 2018, ‘Lucid Dreams’ was officially released, it was given a music video and it debuted on the Billboard charts at number 92.  The single landed on the number 3 spot on Billboard and it became this year’s biggest streaming single.

On May 23, 2018 Juice dropped his first studio album, Goodbye and Good Riddance and a month later, released another EP called Too Soon.  It was a two-song EP and was dedicated to the memories of Lil Peep and XXXTentacion, who both passed way earlier this year.

Back in July, Juice announced that he’s currently working on another new album and began his first tour, ‘WRLD Domination’ on July 20.  Since then, he’s been featured on Travis Scott’s new album, Astroworld and made his late-night TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in August where he performed ‘Lucid Dreams.’

There’s no doubt about it – Juice WRLD is definitely one of the hottest up-and-coming artists in the world and it’s clear that he’s one of 2018’s breakthrough artists.  Can’t wait to see what he brings in 2019!

Juice Fun Fact: At the age of four and being inspired by his mom, Juice began playing the piano and then he learned the guitar, drums and played trumpet for his band class.  It wasn’t until his sophomore year in high school that he began to concentrate on rapping and taking it seriously.
