It’s a celebration!!!

Huge congrats goes out to Camila Cabello because her debut-solo record ‘Havana’ has officially reached one billion Spotify streams.

To celebrate the occasion, Camila has released a recording of a live performance of ‘Havana’ while she was on her Never Be The Same Tour, live from a London show.  Camila sent out two tweets with one reading, “Celebrating 1 billion streams I decided to put out a live version of Havana from my London show, this is one of my favourites to perform love and never gets old” and she captioned the second tweet, “The never the same tour represents such an important part of my life, and this live show was one of the things I’m most proud of ever working on! It was a magical, exhilarating experience every night for all of us.”

‘Havana’ was originally released August 3, 2017 and it managed to gain over a billion streams in a little over a year.  The music video was also a big accomplishment for Camila.  It won Video of the Year at the 2018 VMAs and it’s also nominated for Favourite Music Video at the 2018 AMAs.

And get this – along with ‘Havana’ having one billion streams under its belt, ‘Havana’ officially is the first song by a female artist to have that many streams.
