Earlier this week, Normani’s management team took this sweet shot alongside Sam Smith, using the caption, “Studio vibes.”

 

 

As we know, Sam Smith was, or probably still is a HUGE fan of Fifth Harmony.  Remember that time he went into serious fan mode during  Carpool Karaoke?

 

 

 

 

Or how about the time Sam told Jimmy Fallon he will only do karaoke if Fifth Harmony is involved.

 

 

 

 

With Normani’s upcoming debut solo album, it’s been confirmed that she IS collaborating with Missy Elliott, the Dream, DJ Mustard and Stargate, who is known for the hits ‘Same Old Love’ by Selena Gomez and Fifth Harmony’s ‘Work From Home.”

During Normani’s interview with The Fader she says, “I’m able to go to the studio and write about ideas that actually mean something to me.  I am going back to the music that I grew up with that really inspires me.  I get to pull from that and incorporate those sounds into this project.”
We still don’t have a release date but hopefully Normani’s album is out by the end of 2018, beginning of 2019.
