Kygo brought some serious fire to Toronto at the Air Canada Centre on May 2!

The Norway-born DJ dropped his much anticipated album Kids In Love last year and it brought some serious heat to the tropical house & deep house genres, so it was quite fitting that there were literal flames on stage with him.

In a word, his performance was lit.

The energy in the Air Canada Centre was intoxicating. It could’ve been from the light up bracelets that changed colour to the beat of Kygo’s set or that everyone in the audience was on their feet dancing, but the vibe was electric.

 

 

If anything, Kygo proved that DJ’s don’t just push buttons and bounce around. Kygo had cameras focused on his hands, showing him playing the keyboards, electric drums, and his work station. If that’s not multitasking, I don’t know what is.

Kygo played many of his most popular songs like “Stay,” “Younger,” and “It Ain’t Me”. Plus, he showed Toronto some love by remixing a track by one of our own—The Weeknd’s “Starboy.”
