You might like the Raptors, but Drake LOVES the Raptors.

It’s true—when it comes to Toronto’s NBA team, no one is as passionate as the 6ix God. His season tickets are situated directly next to where head coach Dwane Casey is always standing and yelling, which means Drake (a.k.a. Aubrey Graham) is in the perfect spot to participate. And participate he does.

From standing and yelling (as if he’s a coach???) to freaking the eff out when the Raptors do something amazing (hi, DeRozan!), Drake is always. there. Shaking his head, waving his arms, pouting—you name the reaction, he’s done it. We suspect that the stunning ways he uses his face to portray every. single. thing. he feels is in part due to the training he got during his time on hit TV show Degrassi, and for that, Degrassi deserves a freaking Golden Globe or something.

The sweet part is that Drake showed such undying love and support for the Raptors, the team—which is currently ranked number in the eastern conference, thankyouverymuch—actually crowned him their global ambassador. Together with the Raptors, Drake subsequently created a program called “Welcome Toronto,” wherein he and the team donate $1 million to refurbish local community courts and another $2 million to Canada Basketball.

In addition, with the help of Drake and his brand OVO, the Raptors hosted six OVO-themed “Welcome Toronto” home games across the 2017-2018 season, donning black and gold specialty jerseys and playing on a pretty snazzy court with the same colour scheme. So cool, right?!

TBH, sometimes watching Drake watch the game is more interesting than the game itself.

That’s why, in honour of the Raptors’ headed to playoffs, we compiled some of our favourite pics of Drake on the sidelines.

Behold: At a game against the Lakers in 2014, Drake was obviously very shocked. And he didn’t hide it. Not even a little

Here, in 2016, the 6ix God prays to HIS God—the Raptors God of all that is Gucci—as his team steps to the line for free throws

“How dare you?!?!” is what I’m *pretty* sure Drake is yelling here. The best part is that literally no one around him is as enraged. In fact, the lady in pink looks positively pleased

At game four of the Eastern Conference Finals in 2016, Drake was feeling confident as ever. So much so that he tried to recreate his fave emoji…? I’m really not sure what prompts someone to make this face/hand combo happen
