The cast of This Is Us is the best ever, right?!

Thankfully, the entire crew was on the red carpet at the SAG Awards last night, giving us lots of #BFFGoals to yearn after, but this wasn’t always going to be the case, since not all the cast members were originally invited to the show.

Mackenzie Hancsicsak, who plays Kate Pearson from ages eight to 10, took to Twitter after the show last night to thank her co-star Chrissy Metz (a.k.a. adult Kate) for taking her to the SAG Awards as her plus one. In her sweet note to Metz, she explained that “some of the kid ensemble didn’t appear in enough episodes to qualify,” but that the adults stepped up and “offered their plus one.”

How. Freakin’. Sweet.

Justin Hartley (a.k.a. Kevin Pearson) also asked the littlest Kevin, Parker Bates, to be his date, and our hearts are officially too full to manage.

The sweet shows of friendship between this cast didn’t stop at the red carpet. When This Is Us beat out fan-faves Stranger Things and The Crown for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, every single cast member totally freaked out in earnest surprise, and the video is so cute.

That’s not all the winning This Is Us did last night, either. Sterling K. Brown (a.k.a. Randall Pearson) also took home the award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama Series!

This group is so sugary sweet, we don’t even mind that they keep winning all these awards (and we really love Stranger Thingstrust).
