Men have just found yet another reason to hang out on Saturday nights; ‘Brosectomy’ parties. Yup….it’s a party to celebrate you and your bros getting vasectomies.

Harriet Tory from the Wall Street Journal breaks down the ins and outs of the party saying it’s, “a cushy setting of couches, snacks, big-screen TV, and in some clinics, top-shelf liquor.”

Urologist Paul Turek from Beverly Hills told Tory how each ‘Brosectomy’ party happens while in his office; “when a group arrives, he closes the office to accommodate the men comfortably. A limousine recently delivered a group of biotech employees from the same firm. With jazz playing in the background, “I move like the wind,” finishing each man after a song or two, about eight minutes. Having vasectomies together provides comfort in numbers. One group, friends since college, had vasectomies together, and they “took fewer pain pills, felt better faster and returned to work earlier than the average, go-it-alone-out-on-the-plank, tube-tied patient.”

‘Brosectomy’ parties bring a literal meaning to ‘for the boys’.
