It’s not every day that you get to watch your favourite A-list stars put their own spin on the Spice Girls classic hit “Wannabe.” In celebration of the song’s 21 st anniversary, magazine brought together a slew of celebrities to sing and read the track’s famous lyrics. Stars like Nicole KidmanAlexander Skarsgård and James Franco spiced things up in the hilarious video.

Each star interpreted the challenge differently, with some singing the verses while others performed a dramatic reading. Nicole Kidman dropped her Aussie accent and turned seductress to deliver her lines while her Big Little Lies co-star Alexander Skarsgård opted for a serious tone. Other stars like Stranger Things darling Millie Bobby Brown and The Crown’s Claire Foy had fun with the song, while actorRupert Friend struggled to get through his part without laughing.

The celebs also revealed their favourite Spice Girl. “I think I identified most with Posh,” shared Claire before Nicole echoed the sentiment. Alexander on the other hand was all about Baby Spice. “She was my favourite,” he said.

This isn’t the first time that Hollywood stars have taken on chart-topping songs for the media outlet. Brie Larson and Bryan Cranston sang Drake’s smash hit “Hotline Bling” while stars like Emma StoneNatalie Portman and Matthew McConaughey performed Gloria Gaynor’s classic “I Will Survive.”
