IGGY AZALEA featuring. RITA ORA \ ‘Black Widow’

 

‘Black Widow’ is from Iggy’s debut studio album, The New Classic (2014) and Rita sings the infectious hook. The song was co-written by Katy Perry and Benny Blanco and marked Rita’s first Top 3 hit in the US.

In an interview Iggy praised Rita’s vocals on the track saying, “It needed someone who could really sing, as Katy’s voice is awesome. The sky’s the limit for Rita. Rita’s a superstar and she will only get bigger. Rita is a great fit. Her voice can blow people away” ; the song was originally recorded by Katy Perry.

They performed ‘Black Widow’ at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards and also on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

 

 

RITA ORA featuring TINIE TEMPAH \ ‘R.I.P.’

 

 

Although the song features two of the UK’s biggest artists, ‘R.I.P.’ has a Canadian connection as it was written by Drake and reportedly originally written for Rihanna.

Drizzy said in an interview, “‘R.I.P.’ is a song that I originally wrote for Rihanna. Rihanna actually didn’t take the song. I think it was for Loud and Rita expressed interest in it and anything I can do for Rita, I will do.”

CHARLI XCX featuring RITA ORA \ ‘Doing It’

 

 

‘Doing It’ is a song from Charli XCX’s 2014 album, Sucker.

The song is featured in Pepsi’s ‘Out of the Blue’ music campaign and Charli performed the song during BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and during a 2015 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

 

 

 

RITA ORA featuring J.COLE \ ‘Love and War’

 

‘Love and War’ is a song from Rita’s debut studio album, Ora which also features ‘R.I.P.’ (also on this list).

For her album, Rita enlisted the help of some super producers and writers including will.I.am, Diplo, The Dream and Ester Dean.

 

 

RITA ORA featuring CHRIS BROWN \ ‘Body On Me’

 

 

Rita said of Chris Brown, “I love him [Chris] on different levels. I see how he treats his people and he’s a good person with a good heart and a lovely family.”

The two performed the track for the first time during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live and let’s just say things got steamy between the two.
