Justin Bieber just became the first artist EVER to have TWO NEW tracks reach number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in consecutive weeks.

Billboard announced today that ‘Despacito (Remix)’ from Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber is the number one song this week on the Hot 100 chart.

Last week, DJ Khaled’s ‘I’m The One’ hit number one; the song features Bieber, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne and Quavo of the Migos. It also marked DJ Khaled’s first ever number one single on the Hot 100 chart.

Not only is ‘Despacito (Remix)’ the number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, but it’s the first mostly Spanish-language Hot 100 number one song since ‘Macarena’ hit number one in 1996.

‘Despacito’ is also the first Hot 100 number one song for Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee.

Congrats to Justin!
