The One Direction member has released a brand new single called, ‘Slow Hands’.

‘Slow Hands’ follows Niall’s first debut solo single, ‘This Town’, which he released back in September.

Back in December during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Niall revealed that album (no release date as of yet) will be influenced by Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles.

He added,  “Some of the songs are heavier than others. I play a bit of electric on some tracks and we obviously played around a lot with percussion stuff to build up the songs so there was a lot of things going on percussion wise.”

That same month, Niall sent out a newsletter to his fans, updating them on his new music. He admitted that he’s a bit of a perfectionist and that he was taking his time dishing out new tracks, “I’m currently 8 songs deep and ready for more..I want to take my time with no pressure and make sure I get it right. I’m quite the self-critic.”

Niall and Pickering, Ontario native Shawn Mendes have also discussed teaming up on a record.

He spoke to The Late Late Show’s James Corden about the possibility of working with the 1D member.

All of the One Direction guys have released new music or on the cusp of doing so. Niall’s former 1D bandmate Harry Styles is set to release his self-titled debut studio album next week (May 12th).
