It’s safe to say that when it comes down to surprising fans, Taylor Swift does it best!

Not only has Taylor surprised fans by appearing at bridal showers, weddings and even house parties, she can now add a World War II veteran to her list.

Cyrus Porter, a 96-year old Missouri native made some headlines earlier in the year by claiming he was the oldest ‘Swifty’ out there. He has attended multiple concerts and listening to Taylor has made him closer to all of his 20+ grandchildren.

Cyrus says, “I’ve been to two concerts.  Memphis and St Louis. Look what she does… she puts on a show no one else puts on. I just enjoyed going to see ’em and her. I would as soon go see her right now as anybody!”

Of course, Taylor heard about Cyrus’ story and immediately she jumped at the chance of surprising him at his home … and … at Christmas time!

Before performing for the entire Porter family, Cyrus gave her the home tour and even stopped to show her World War II memorabilia.

Taylor might not be making any new music right now but she sure still has the hearts of all her loyal fans.
