Canadian singer Nelly Furtado pays tribute to her fellow Canadian Drake by covering his Views single and collaboration with Rihanna, ‘Too Good’. Her version is an acoustic take on the reggae-influenced track, check that out below!

Last month, Nelly offered up the first taste of her new music by releasing a single called, ‘Islands of Me’.

‘Islands of Me’ will appear on her upcoming album, The Ride due out March 2017.

Nelly revealed in an interview with i-D Vice that the album is “modern pop alternative”.

The album is produced by John Congleton and Nelly spoke about him in the Vice interview, saying, “I write pop melodies, I’ve always written pop melodies. But John forces me to dig a little deeper and make sure that I’m coming correct with the lyrics. I was also in a really cool phase in my life where I was going through a difficult time of transition and that helped lyrically. I just had so much to write about.”
