The 2011 VMAs were packed with many memorable moments from your favourite KiSS 92.5 artists, but perhaps the biggest and most unexpected moment came courtesy of Beyoncé, who not so subtly announced to the world that she and husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child!

The nominees for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards were announced Wednesday night, and Perry leads all artists with nine total nods, including Video of the Year (“Firework“) and Pop Video of the Year (“Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)“). Four different Perry videos were recognized (including “E.T.” and “Teenage Dream”), further proof that everything she’s released since the album’s first single “California Gurls” has turned to gold!
Adele continues her incredible breakthrough rise in to the mainstream collecting seven nominations, good for the second in terms of nods.

Chelsea Handler is set to host the VMAs in Hollywood this weekend, and last night she had mulitple nominee B.o.B on her show Chelsea Lately to discuss the awards show, his relationship with Airplanes singer Hayley Williams, and B.o.B’s opening slot on the Eminem/Jay-Z Home and Home Tour.
