[ROZ & MOCHA INTERVIEW] Gawker Launches ‘Crackstarter’ to Buy Rob Ford Video

Gawker is raising funds to buy the rights to the infamous video that allegedly shows Toronto’s mayor smoking crack.

The video is now being shopped around by drug dealers of Somali descent.

Gawker is hoping to raise $200,000 to give to the drug dealers in exchange for the video and the right to publish it. With just 7 days left, they’ve raised just under $90,000.

Gawker Editor, John Cook, called into the Roz & Mocha Show to talk about the “crackstarter” campaign to buy the video, what HE saw in the video, and more…

While his dad defied gravity for the past five months, Evan Hadfield has been Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield’s right hand man on land.

Chris Hadfield is back safely on Earth after five months on the International Space Station, but it will take several months for the Canadian astronaut’s body to return to its pre-flight condition.

What is it like to have your dad in space? How many comments were flooding in on Facebook? The best guy to ask is Even Hadfield, Chris’ son who has been so proud and supportive of his dads mission to space, and is thrilled to have him back on Earth.
